Bandisuglo & Gubdanda Womens Group
Bandisuglo women’s group was formed in Northern Region of Ghana in the year 2000. It was registered under Ghana’s company code of 1963 on the 17th January, 2007. The group is located in the Tamale metropolis with a branch at Gupanarigu in the Tolon/Kumbungu District also in the Northern region of Ghana. Membership is limited to women. It currently has a membership of 184 women. The group is involved in shea butter processing, soap making, kente weaving and pomade making. The principal objective of the group, among others is to generate employment for the members, empower them economically and offer them skills, training etc. It is also the aim of the group to expand to include many more women in the region where majority of women and children are disadvantaged.
