Bandisuglo and Gubdanda Women Group Trained in ICT

A two weeks ICT Capacity Training has been organized for two women groups; Bandisgulu Women Group and the Gubdanda Women Group.

Both Groups are based in Tamale and produce sheabutter, local detergents.

The training which was organized by Savana Signatures, an NGO based in Tamale, was conducted over a period of two weeks at the Savana Signatures ICT Training Centre in Tamale

Participants were taken through the basics of ICT. They were educated on what benefits ICTs could bring to their businesses. They were taken through using word processing to document their daily activities. They were also taken through the basics of using Excel to keep a daily account of their income and expenditure as well as using the calculator.

Participants were also taken through the use of the Internet and how they can use the Internet to search for information online using google search as well as composing and assessing emails.
